for being here and ministering to us this Lord’s Day!

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Don Mc Dougall.
Don is a former member of our congregation. Thank you for sharing
your testimony in song today.

CHILDREN & WORSHIP
All Children ages 3 years – 2nd Grade will meet together
through the summer months in the Fellowship Hall.
Worship Leader this week is Lynda Ver Merris.
 
                            PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Jim Friar will undergo surgery in Ann Arbor on
Tuesday, July 7. Please keep Jim & Ila in your prayers this coming
week. See Prayers & Praise Line for all prayer requests and praise
reports.

IN APPRECIATION – Thank you to the Grace congregation for all the
prayers & cards since my recent surgery! ~Hennie Rosema

                    NEXT WEEK – JULY 12, 2009
                           COMMUNION SUNDAY

NEXT SUNDAY we will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
Pastor Rick will continue the series “Walking With God by the
Water” with the message: “Sea Stories: Inside the Sea” from
Jonah 2. 

                 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING FOR THE MONTH OF JULY is designated for
ACTION, Assisting Challenged Teenagers in our Neighborhood, a
program of Neighborhood Church Ministries. ACTION is facilitating
a new community initiative called “100 Days of Summer” which
addresses the concern over the safety of Wyoming teens and keeping
them off the street by offering fun and free opportunities for them
over the summer months. This special offering will be held on
July 26.

CHOIR MEMBERS – SAVE THE DATE! The annual choir picnic will be held
at Paul’s cottage on Saturday, August 8. Come anytime after 1:00 pm
with dinner at 5:00 pm. Sign up today!

CHURCH PLANT AT GRACE – The Mission/Outreach Team along with the
Consistory are continuing researching and praying about God’s will
for a church plant. Many of you have questions, so a question &
answer flyer is being prepared but we would like your input! Please
write your questions that you have on a piece of paper and place in
the box in the narthex during the next few weeks.

• The Marshall family as they travel to Ethiopia to pick up their son ~
they leave July 8 and are scheduled to return on July 19!

• Jim Friar as he undergoes surgery this week in Ann Arbor
• Christy Kleymeer as she seeks the best course of treatment
• Those who have recently been hospitalized or have underwent surgery including:
Roger Vander Sloot, Bob Stadt, Al Grimm, Christy Oppenhuizen
• Family and friends of our Grace congregation who have special needs
